Beauty Shopping: Shiseido Daily Bronze Moisturizing Emulsion

Today I restocked on Estee Lauder Anti-Stress Masks and I got something new – a bronzing daily moisturizer by Shiseido. Last summer I didn’t use anything of a kind. didn’t really care how pale my skin looked… I just gave birth and the only thing on my mind was how to survive on a couple hours sleep a day. Well I survived and this spring I feel I already want my skin to glow. So I didn’t actually do any inquiries or any research into what’s available out there. Just walked into a store talked to a sales girl and chose Shisedo based on the intensity of the color it provides which is very light, no smell and the added benefit of anti-oxidant protection.

Let’s see how it works for me!

In addition to my purchases I got a wonderful present: a cosmetic bag by Shiseido with a Perfect Rouge lipstick in RD 514 and a Smoothing Lip Pencil in RD 305, Shiseido Advanced Essential Energy Hand Nourishing Cream, Benefiance Pure Retinol Instant Treatment Eye Mask, Replenishing Body Cream and Refining Body Exfoliator. Lucky me! Looking forward to trying everything out.

Oh wow! Update on this product once you get the chance to try it out! I also wanted a glow but Jergens made me orange and I haven't tried other products since!

Hello. A little off topic. Do you have any favorite sunscreen you can recommend? Lately, I have no luck with sunscreen. :( Thanks!

@Beautiful Canvas
Actually I am not having much luck with sunscreens either. I am looking for something high spf and suitable for my a bit sensitive skin. I used to wear Estee Lauder's Day Wear Plus SPF 30... Then I also like Clinique's tinted City Block SPF 25... I liked those.. Last year it was La Mer UV Protecting Fluid which I cannot really recommend (see review http://skincarebeautyproduct.blogspot.com/2009/11/beauty-review-la-mer-spf-30-uv.html)and Avene's moisturizer for sensitive skin with SPF 15 which is too low for summer... This year I am going to see how Clinique's Superdefense SPF 25 will work for me... I'll make a post about it.

I totally agree with you, spf 15 is not enough for me either. My problem with physical sunscreen is the ghostly white cast. I just bought Eucerin sensitive skin spf 30 today, so far on my hand, no white cast. Also bought Clinique Face Cream spf 50. I tried Origins spf 25 with white tea (the new one), omg, I love it. Haha, I am on a hunt :)

Hey! Thanks for ideas. How does Clinique Face Cream spf 50 feel on the skin? Estee Lauder's Day Wear doesn't leave any "white veil" on the skin - feels nice and is moisturizing and is packed with anti-oxidants...
